Haze (They/Them), known as Hazel, is a Queer SWANA Non-Binary Transfemme Software/Date Engineer. Beside being a Neurodivergent, Haze understands the discrimination marginalized individuals, in particular the Queer Community, face in a world designed to exploit their vulnerabilities and the need to simply exist. For the vision of the Intersectional Justice, Haze has committed themselves to the active work of Self-Decolonizing and Dismantling Injustices rooted in Systems of Oppression. As a first step, Haze has determined that providing accessibility, affordability, and safety for the Queer Collective and their Allies is very essential for this objective.
Haze is a Software/Data Engineer focused on Data-Intensive App/API Development. They are passionate about Data Processing/Analytics and interested in the application of Machine Learning and Data Security. They hold a M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in computer science, and love all about software design and programming.
Over the years they've acquired the expertise of designing, building, and testing APIs and Applications in an agile environment. They're skilled in Object-Oriented programming , and have shifted more towards the Functional Programming. Haze is an avid Java Developer and so much passionate about Scala, and their ecosystems.
As a software developer, Haze excels at developing highly performing applications by leveraging concurrency and parallelism whenever appropriate. They always strive to deliver clean code along with robust design by employing S.O.L.I.D. design principles and other design best practices.

At some point of their journey, Haze developed a growing interest in Distributed Systems & Reactive Programming. They're very eager to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to a successful journey of deep-diving into a new realm and share it with the Collective.
